Prog:How to make a .Bat fake virus!
holla! here's some sweet thingy! Havent you always thought of how difficult it is to get rid of virus? or even how to make a virus? well here's how! and you dont have to know coding to do anything! but before that, here's a disclaimer.
IT IS ILLEGAL TO SEND .BAT FILES VIA E-MAIL WITH THE INTENTION TO HARM PEOPLE'S COMPUTER! DO SO AT YOUR OWN RISK!
now all that stuff's down and over, let's get to the fun part.

a .bat file is easily made from notepad. .bat files are files that can cause a computer to react in a certain way, like for example, open the CMD function. to make a fake virus, you just cause a computer to open a file over and over again till it crashes and wont stop. there is no way to stop this from running once it has been run, other than restarting

Title: to make a virus
Aim: fun joy and laughter
Approach: using notpad, make a computer repeat a function

Independant variable:virus
Dependant variable: how much fun you have
Constant Variable: must use notepad and save as .bat

Apparatus: computer, notepad
Procedure:
1)open notepad
2) copy and paste this:

Game: Touhou:phatasmorgia of flower view.
Remember the old old shooting games like space invader? well, this is 100 times crazier. controlling various bishojo, you get to shoot the crap out od somke random fairy thingies. in phatasmorgia of flower view, you get to play against another player, and you have to unleash combo to nuke the other guy's screen with bullets. and here, when you get nuked, chances are your screen will be almost fully covered by bullets. real fun this game. one thing great about this game is that it can be downloaded free at doujinstyle.com.

Anime cool sceen of the week.

Anime introduction:
Hellsing. no, not Van hellsing.

Hellsing is an anime TV series produced by GONZO, based on the manga of the same name by Kouta Hirano. The basic concept of the series concerns a secret British government organization called Hellsing. This organization was formed several hundred years ago by either Abraham van Helsing or his descendants to fight vampires across Britain.(Wiki)

if you did watch last week's anime cool scene, you'll know this anime is seriously kick ass. the characters are cool, there's loads of blood and gore, there's loads of blood and gore, and there's loads of blood and gore. isnt that good enough incentive to watch it? Alucard, the main character has some serious badass skills, killing other vampires. if you're waiting for spoilers, well, you aint getting it from this post. watch the OVA.

Anime chick of the week:Horo

repeat after me. Kitsune mimi mode!she's a fox demon, she eats apples like nobody's business, she is a few hundred (thousand?) years old and she's smarter than us. seriously, HOW HOT IS THAT? that, and the fact that she's travelling with a merchant, lawrance craft. dammit! lucky dude.

i have booked th bbq pit at my hse.

Lol ok. Lets face it. All of us wants one of these devices. So yah since some of us would need to buy one for next year I(harri) have decided to come out with a Laptops Section.



General info

Since this is the very first post lets start with some basics.
There are 5 types of laptops.
1)Home entertainment
2)Gaming
3)Business
4)School work
5)Netbooks
1)Home entertainment usually a desktop computer would suffice but if you want the portability to bring it anywhere then heres your laptop. Home entertainment usually is surfing of internet and watching videos. Sometimes people would connect these laptops to their big assed plasma tv and surf internet from the comfort of the couch.
Screen size: 14.1' to 20.1'(freaking big ok! normal desktop monitor is 17' or 19')
Price : anywhere from $1000 to a hefty $7000
Weight : 2.5kg -9kg
Processing power :Average
Battery Life :1.5hour-3hour

2)Gaming laptops. These laptops are relatively expensive and if you really want to game but you will only stay at home. Buy a desktop it would be cheaper. Gaming laptops represent portable gaming(of course with a power socket and table). These laptops are hefty and expensive. You wouldnt want to carry these to school on a day to day basis. Oh these laptops do get relatively hot so yah, guys dont put these on your lap while gaming, your future is in jeopardy. These laptops have rather powerful and melodious sounding speakers.

Price :anywhere from $2000 to a crazy price of $11ooo(yes eleven ThOuSaNd)
Weight :3kg-9kg
Processing power :Very powerful
Battery Life : 50minutes - 3 hours

3)Business laptops. These laptops are sleek and fits well with the formal etiquette of the high flying executives. The main highlight of these laptops are security of the information onboard and the long battery life. The laptops are usually very well built with small screen, however it is usually expensive and has average processing power.
Screen Size : 12.1'-14.1'
Price : $2000-$5000
Weight : 1.8kg-2.5kg
Processing power : Average
Battery Life : 3.5hours - 9hours
Note : Out of reach for most of us

4)School Work laptops. These laptops are relatively cheap and rather stylish. They are most suited to doing school work(duh?), surfing the internet, watching videos, listening to the music and very occasinal gaming.
Screen Size : Usually 14.1'
Price : $1000-$2000
Weight : Around 2.5kg
Processing power : Below average
Battery life : 2hours-3.5 hours

5)Netbooks. Ah - HA! Most of you are wondering "what is a netbook":P Basically these are small notebook that are usually used to surf internet. They are small light and cheap.
Screen Size : 5.6'(too small screen and very small keyboard) to 8.9'
Price : $600-$1000
Weight : 610gram - 1.2kg
Processing power :Disasterous
Battery Life : 3.5 hours -7hours

Value for money: Powerful laptop and good features for its price
Price :$2090(price i paid for it after driving a hard bargain) Now $2298
This is the laptop i am using to post this post right now. So far have been using it for about half a year and i did not regret buying this laptop. Mine is the first generation and currently those on sale are the second generation.

Screen: Rather good screen that is overly glossy(good mirror) bright and crisp but under bright conditions it is hard to see the screen

Keyboard: Spacious keyboard that feels like a desktop keyboard. But it isnt spill proof, so if a cup of water drops on this laptop, you can pretty much grab your wallet and search for a new one. The keys are very well placed. the control key is on the far left bottom corner of the keyboard which is like a normal keyboard and the function key is beside it. It would mean that it is easy to get used to this laptop.

Graphical capabilities: Way above average for its class. HD video and blu-ray quality videos are not a problem for this laptop. It plays all modern game at respectable setting.

Battery Life:Good battery life for its class. Main reason is the enormous battery that can be used as a blungeon to club other people.

Downsides: Very heavy for its class. at 3.2kg for a 15.4inch screen(MacBook Pro is 2.5kg for the 15.4inch screen) is a trade off for its capabilities. Uncomfortable to carry on back for more than 30mintues. A back pack, not sling bag, is necessary to comfortabily carry the laptop and its acessories for a short period of time. Thats the end of my review.

Bonus (very important!)

BONUS TIP(non-laptop related)What should you do if your dearest electronics get wet?Fret not, if you do the right thing, there is a high chance that it would come back to life. That is ONLY if you do the RIGHT THING.
steps
1) Switch off the device immediately. Do NOT try to turn it on if the screen is dead. The theory behind this is when water gets in and you try to switch it on, electricity flows through the circuits inside. This causes electrolysis and the contacts get corroded. Once it is corroded, no more electricity would flow through the circuit, thus "dead" and once it is corroded its pretty much hopeless. So you really want to prevent that from happening.
2) Take out the battery. If your device has an internal battery skip to step 3.
3) Try to remove as much water as you can from the device.
4) Should you have dropped it into salty water or dirty water, rinse device in deionised water. If you did not drop your device in salty or dirty water, skip to step 5.
5) Leave it in a warm dry place for 48 hours(2 days) and keep fingers crossed.
6) When its totally dry, put in the battery and switch it on. It should work.

I hope this would be a useful skill for all of you gadget holders!

Tech:any of you have a printer? ever thought how good it would be if your printer can print 3d objects? fear not!with the not-so-newest technology,you can print anime figurines, anime figurines and anime figurines at low costs! Okay, so you can print tools like wrenches and screwdrivers since the material is rather strong... you can even print cups for yourself, but who needs that. all we want is anime figurines!!!!

the technology uses a powder and hardens when in contact with a type of chemical. it then prints layer by layer,going 0.1 mm thick at one layer. alternate machines that can print 3d objects use a type of liquid that hardens quickly, like a hot glue gun.here's a clip to show you what its like
Prog:hohkayh. here's the situation. you have just got a japanese programme like Alibat (record of rozen wars), and you want to know how to make it work in your computer. well, here's a guide that SHOULD help you. please note: it works for me after i trailed and errored some stuff recomended by other people and so, i may have some uneccessary steps. first of all, your computor MUST have the asian language pack installed. this takes a total of about 30 mins if your com's a lousy one like mine. the pack can be found in the CD that you used to install or reformat windows XP(sorry, vista users!~)

once that's done, go to control panel, find "regional and language settings", and use it to set your comp to jappu.

since most people's computers are not using japanese XP, i should think that you cannot fully install a jap programme. That's where applocale comes in. search google, get it and install it. its a microsoft programme so i doubt there's any bugs. using applocale, you can then install your jap by setting the programme's mode to japanese. its rather obvious.

then comes SBBapplocale. i have no idea if it has anyuse, but what the heck. just dl it, and put it in the same folder as the .EXE file of the game. this should run smoothly and properlly.

P.S you MUST set your regional and language settings to jap whenever you play the game

anyway, this is an awesome game, to say the least. its funny, yet it is serious and oh-so-cool. imagine going into battle with a dragon or wyvern and pwning the faeces out of it with just two daggers. bloody awesome. the game is fun, does not really get boring even though you have to play the same map about 20 times, but you might feel it is too long, cus important items needed to forge weapons are not easy to get. you have to friggin SCRAPE the skin and bones off the dead monster's body for items. so that's a load of scraping needed.

make sure you have a guide with you or someone experienced nearby cus there's a heck load of combinations of items to form potions and the like which needs to be memorised.

Anime intro:This story takes place in the Shinigami technical school for weapon meisters, It follows three meisters and their weapons (who also happen to be able to change into human form as well as a weapon). Their goal seems to be to create the ulitmate death scythe fit for shinigami himself. In order to do this they must collect the souls of 99 evil humans and 1 witch. The last soul must be that of a witch or they have to start all over again.

basically, the art's not much to look at, but the storyline's hilarious yet cool at the same time. One this good about this anime is that its new so you dont have much to catch up, just 16 episodes. and the best thing is that its not overidden by non otaku's put there! this is not draggy YET and it seems to be going on the right direction full marks from me. 100%

Anime chick of the week: C.C (code geass) oh, come on! who wouldnt think that this chick is hot? she has awesome figure, and has the ability to give you mind manupilation powers. how hawt is that? she eats pizza with extra cheeze by the ton but wont die of a heart attack, how hawt is that? seriously. but with a name that is rumored to stand for "crusty cheeze", maybe that's not so hawt after all.

Art: welcome to the arts section! this week, avatar is made easy using paint and MS photo editor! Avatars are some of the easiest things to make, cus they are only a picture and your name on it. here's how to do an easy one!

step 1: find a nice picture
step 2: crop it using ms photo editor
step 3: find a nice font
step 4: add your name.

here's a slightly harder one.
after cropping the picture, you can remove the back ground by painting the unwanted parts a colour that is not already in the picture.


make that part invisible by using the "transparent" tool.

save it as a .gif file.

next, find a suitable background. simple is usally nice.

remove any unwanted parts

and finally, put in the forground and the name

The One And Only ALICE!

ALICE

this post is dedicated to Alice, a lady/girl who has attracted a lot of male and female students in our class to her. oh, Alice's presence will surely sweep you off your feet. to put it simply Alice is really stunning. however, something is seriously amiss regarding Alice. not many have seen her so far, including me. apparently, the only time Alice will appear, is when one's mind is shut down and when one is being dragged into the world of hers. i don't know whether if it's a good or a bad thing, but i guess the world she and the person is in, is irresistible.

oh yes, our chem teacher would probably know her. since she always use this, " where's Alice"? so the possibility of Mrs Yeo knowing Alice is pretty high. yea, and now i'm wondering how does Alice look like? no, guess i shall not look for her, and i bet you won't too.

New coding added

Ya Ha! before i post my random post of the week tomorrow, here's a little new thingy i took the liberty of adding on our class blog.

now, i have reconfigured some java script, and everything seems to work fine, but anyone who spots and problems, please complain to your mom. no just kidding. tell me. i have the old template saved on my com incase anything goes wrong. but one i restore the old template, we have no more of this new stuffs.

changes made:
-added extra 3 lines of code in the javascript portion of the template
-added extra 2 lines of code in the CSS style area
-updated yuya's blog hyperlink(the only change that i didnt test, so tell me if there's an error.)

Ya-Ha! in order to liven things up, i've decided to post a random post of the week featuring the youtube clip of the week and the joke of the week! as of now, im really at a loss as to what to post yet, but any ideas is welcome! Oh, and if you're ionline seeing this, what the heck are you doing here? you've got to study for a friggin maths test!!! chappie on integration, if memory serves.
